A B O U T
History: ...If you'd seen the length of the history I wrote for my application for this you'd know why I'm making this so abbreviated.
(+) She moved to New Mexico and started to attend East High, where she made new friends from several different cliques. (+) She met school Basketball star Troy Bolton, with whom she'd sung karaoke at a new years party while on holiday at a skiing resort. (+) She auditioned for the school musical with Troy, and met Kelsi Daniels, the shy composer. They got a callback. (+) Despite Drama King&Queen Ryan and Sharpay's attempts to sabotage their audition, and Chad and Taylor's attempts to keep Gabriella and Troy apart (in the belief that it was for their own good), they won the auditions and got to do star in the musical. (+) They worked together with the Wildcats at the Evans' country club. (+) Sharpay attempted to win Troy over by tempting him with a university scholarship, since her parents had friends in high places. (+) Gabriella grew worried that Troy's new Professional Basketball friends and his new links with university scouts were changing him and causing him to blow off his friends, so she broke up with him. (+) Drama happened. (+) Troy came to his senses and Gabriella returned to the Club to sing in the talent show with Troy and their friends.
Personality: Gabriella is initially shy on first meeting, but becomes easier to talk to once a common ground has been established. Around her friends, she's cheerful and outgoing, and she loves to sing and dance. She loves helping people (including with homework because she's a big math/science nerd) and is even willing to offer a hand to someone she doesn't know, but during her time at East High she's also developed a little more backbone than she once had, and won't stand for anyone messing with her friends (or her summer, because that's not okay with her >>>O). Generally though, she tries to put a positive spin on everything, but she can only be pushed so far before she decides that it's time to take action. Gabriella's a loyal, honest friend who's about as likely to doublecross you as Ryan is to remove his hat. If she's mad at you, she'll generally tell you, but if she's upset she has a tendency to sulk and withdraw from company, or maybe cry a single Disney-esque tear while singing a song about how sad she is. Daw. Most of the time though, she tries not to let the little bumps in life bother her.
